Cyclical Yoga Workshop - Yoga for Your Menstrual Cycle

This informative and experiential retreat style workshop will explore how to adapt your practice to flow with the phases of your menstrual cycle.
Through a combination of information, physical practice, meditation and relaxation we will be exploring a way of practicing this is fluid and adaptable to the waxing and waning of our needs and natures.
Retreat style learning:Â
Online workshops are of course very different in nature to in person workshops so my intention is that this feels more like a retreat. A place where you can rest, replenish and move whilst absorbing information. This is why I've made the workshop 4.5 hours so that we have time for adequate breaks.
Topics covered:Â
- The phases of the menstrual cycleÂ
- The physiological and psychological changes that each phase bringsÂ
- How to practice cyclically and maximise each phase
- The physical changes to be aware of and take care of in each phase
- Well Woman Yoga Therapy practices to support menstrual challenges and to promote wellbeing
- Adapting your practice in a general classÂ
- Creating your own cyclical home practice
- Reclaiming autonomy and undoing our conditioning of control, consistency and infinite resource
- For teachers: Inclusive language and period inclusive language in classÂ
This workshop is open to all who are interested in learning more about a cyclical approach to yoga practice.Â

I am a certified Well Woman Yoga Therapy & Pregnancy Yoga teacher with a special interest in Menstrual Cycle Awareness, breaking taboos & a cyclical approach to life and practice.​
