About The Event

New Moon Wild Woman Yoga & Nidra

Tuesday 24th March 2020

Zoom online (link will be sent to all those booked on)

An invitation to stay connected to the seasons and cycles of our bodies and nature through movement and rest amidst all of the uncertainty and change.

We will move and breathe together to invite softness and space at this time of transition; the transition into a new lunar cycle, the transition from winter into spring at this seasonal juncture of the spring equinox and the transition from normal life into the unknown ahead.

NOTE: As part of my insurance I can only offer this practice to women I have taught before. If you are new to my classes I would need to have a phone consultation with you first. And everyone needs to fill in and return the health form before joining the session. Thank you so much for understanding <3

NEW MOON ~ The new moon is the low point of the lunar cycle, a time for rest, retreat and visioning. It also marks the start of a new cycle, an opportunity to shed old skins and step into something new.

SPRING EQUINOX ~ a day of equal lightness and dark, a welcome pause and a moment of balance, the pause before action. Traditionally a time to reflect on what has been and plan for what is ahead, to explore what it is you would like to pour your growth energy into and what it is you would like to clear out to make space for new growth. At this time of uncertainty this may not feel right, instead we may wish to simply rest in the pause and notice what is arising, exploring a softening into sensation and an openness to the flow of emotion as it rising up and falls way.

Download the health form and learn more about Wild Woman Yoga here:

Zoom as a platform offers us the chance to each see each other face to face as a group no matter where in the world we are! You can mute your end at any time.

The link will be sent to you one the day of the session via email and it's free and super easy to use.

Opening check in ~ at the start of the class I'd love to check in with you all, see how you're doing and get a sense for what it is you'd most like from your practice.

Wild Woman Yoga ~ Wild Woman Yoga is about surrendering to the flow and being released from expectations of consistency, predictability and infinite resource. It is here that we may experience freedom beyond form and feel empowered to practice in a way that is fluid and adaptable to the waxing and waning of our needs and natures.

Yoga Nidra ~ Our practice will end with a short Yoga Nidra, a practice of deep rest through wakeful sleep that blends the benefits of deep sleep, deep meditation and deep relaxation into one effortless practice.
