A bit of respite from all the challenge we're facing right now. A moment to pause, breathe, move and share. We'll come together online to reclaim community and connection in these days of distance and disconnection.

A down to earth, real talk circle where you can show up exactly as you are always. A 'brave space' to connect to yourself and others, reclaiming community as a cornerstone of society. A place to connect during this time of social disconnection!

What to expect: 

Zoom as a platform offers us the chance to each see each other face to face as a group no matter where in the world we are! You can mute your end until it's your space to share. The link will be sent to you in the days leading up to the circle and it's free and super easy to use.

I was a bit apprehensive the first time I partook in an online women's circle but they really are beautiful and surprisingly powerful considering we're connecting through a screen. 

Opening check in ~ Our circle will open with a check in where we can all meet each other virtually and introduce ourselves (you can pass if you wish to just listen). You can pull cards you have at home or I can pull one on your behalf!

Dance party ~ I will be sharing a link with you all to a playlist I have curated for us to dance to. Dance has been shown to be one of the best ways to elevate mood and release stress and tension. I can't wait to shake it with you all! 

Yoga Nidra ~ I will be offering a yoga nidra and will try to record it separately so you can re-listen. Yoga Nidra is a practice of deep rest through wakeful sleep, a practice that blends the benefits of deep sleep, deep meditation and deep relaxation into one effortless practice. Space to share in our Women's Circle ~ A women's circle is simple, it's a space where we can just be. A place to rest, breathe, feel and move. A place to be seen AND heard in a world where women have been taught to be seen and NOT heard. You don't have to say anything at all if you don't feel to you can simply soak up the words from the other women. You don't have to say anything profound or articulate, it's simply a space for you to share what's on your heart and mind.

​INCLUSIVITY

Explorations of the Feminine are inherently inclusive and as such these circles are open to all who identify as women including trans, non-binary or any other expression or identification of femininity. These circles value diversity of expression, experience and perspectives. 

Open to all ages, life stages and cycle phases, including babies and young children (with adults).

LOGISTICS

How to Attend: 

~ Click register and choose your ticket price based on the donation you are able/willing to make

~ Choose manual payment for bank transfer, bank details will be emailed to you automatically on booking or Paypal if you prefer

~ A Zoom link will be sent to you in advance you will simply need to download the software and sign in before the time of our call (if you can do a test run earlier in the day to make sure everything's working so there's time for me to help with fixes that would be great)

If this event makes a profit £1 from each paid ticket will be donated to TreeSisters and you can choose to make additional donations during the day via cash or card. TreeSisters are my chosen charity to fundraise for, you can read more about their work here. Giving back to the trees as we work to become a restorer species. 

Location:

Zoom (link will follow closer to the time)

Preparation:

~ Ideally you will have privacy and won't be disturbed for the duration of the circle, this is particularly important when making sure to preserve the confidentiality and privacy of the other women in the circle

~ You might like to make sure everything's working an hour or so before the call so that there's time to troubleshoot

~ It might be nice to set up your space with candles, special items, comfy blankets to make this a sacred retreat time just for you

To bring: 

~ Hot drink / water

~ Journal and pen 

~ A space and comfy blankets and pillows to practice Yoga Nidra

~ Headphones may be better for you to hear the circle than your laptop/phone speaker and will preserve the privacy of the other women sharing

~ Download the Spotify playlist (will be emailed to you) to your phone or laptop and make sure you have headphones or a speaker so you can turn it up!
