LUNAR PHASE FOR THIS PRACTICEÂ
WANING MOON ~ the premenstrual phase of the lunar cycle, a time of decreasing energy and introspection. You may feel a pull inwards, this can be a time of reflection, clearing out and letting go in preparation for the next cycle. As ever it's interesting to explore how your own cycle sits with that of the moon right now and notice if an how they might be impacting one another.Â

PRACTICE FOCUS: Surrender to the Flow
'Surrender is the simple but profound act of yielding to rather than opposing the flow of life' ~ Eckhart TolleÂ
This time right now is a huge teacher of surrender. We can't plan or look into the future in any real way so we just have to take each day, each moment, each week as it comes. Surrendering to the flow of life, emotions and situations as we go.
And I feel that as women we are uniquely prepared for this kind of thing. Our bodies have been asking us to surrender to the ebbs and flows for a lifetime and this work is now playing out in our lives.Â
This practice explores the element of water and all the many teachings water has for us in our practice and in life <3Â
‘Edges define an island… and yet an island’s edges are not strictly defined. They shift with the tides, in an ongoing, fluid, co-creative partnership between land and sea. They are in an unending state of becoming, and we are like them: we ebb and we flow; we soften sometimes, merge into the ecosystems of others, then retreat into the safety of our own sharply defined boundaries. We are gentle, and warm, and then we are storm.’ ~ If Women Rose Rooted

FIERCE FREE FLOWÂ
Fierce Free Flow is a fiery, playful and feminine approach to flow that seeks to ignite the inner fire, unleash wildness and liberate movement and energy. Â
An invitation to invoke your inner wild woman, incite rebellion and surrender to the flow. This practice invites you to release stuck energy, shed inhibitions, and liberate yourself to explore intuitive primal movement.Â
Dynamic, fluid and playful asana to a diverse and danceable playlist. Â
Open to women (including any person who identifies as women inclusive of nonbinary/trans people) of all ages, life stages and cycle phases, including babies and young children. Â
Suitable in pregnancy (after 14 weeks) if you have an established practice and know how to take care of yourself. The adaptive and intuitive nature of this style of practice invites you to move in the ways that suit and serve your body in this particular season of life.Â
This is dynamic women's yoga practice which is more suitable for the spring, summer and autumn phases but the adaptive and intuitive style invites you to move in ways that suit and serve your body whatever season of the cycle of life you find yourself in. Â

MY TEACHING STYLEÂ
When it comes to yoga I love to work hard, play hard and rest incredibly hard! I like to sweat, dance, roll around, laugh, cry, try things I don't think I can do, explore things I love and liberate myself from the confines of structure and form to invoke feelings of freedom and wildness.
My intention as a teacher is to invite the exploration of freedom and unearth the many individual pathways to liberation through movement, self enquiry, meditation and breath. Exploring resistance, defences and patterns through the lens of movement, meditation and relaxation to discover the freedom to breathe well, move well and live well.
I seek to offer an inclusive, supportive, autonomous and nurturing environment which offers the space and freedom to explore the practice in a way that suits and serves our ever shifting mental, physical and emotional needs.
I love to explore challenge as I feel yoga can reveal to us that we are capable of so much more than we think we are and helps to challenge self-limiting beliefs.
I offer movement inspired by our wild nature; playful, spontaneous, fluid and self-guided and regularly weave stories, themes and ideas from daily life and nature into the practices. My teachings are very much rooted in the modern day whilst also drawing inspiration from the traditions of the practice and the old ways.
I choose to bring the truth of how I feel to each and every class because I truly believe the more human we can be with each other, the easier it becomes for us to be human.
