☾
An invitation to stay connected to the seasons and cycles of our bodies and nature through movement and rest. A practice that honours the cyclical nature of our bodies and lives.
These classes fluctuate with the lunar phases offering an opportunity to explore, honour and celebrate different aspects of our needs and natures. An invitation to explore the restful, the dynamic and everything in between but know that you can always practice at the level and pace you feel.
I will always offer more dynamic options when we're primarily resting and vice versa because we're all cyclical creatures and each and every day brings a different experience.

WHAT TO EXPECT: WILD WOMAN WIND DOWN
A gentle yoga practice that is fluid and adaptable to the waxing and waning of our needs and natures as women. Wild Woman Wind Down is an adaptive and feminine approach to yoga that seeks to support, nurture and empower women through all life stages and cycle phases.
An invitation to fully surrender to the seasons and cycles of your life and practice in a way that nourishes and supports your body wherever you might be in your menstrual cycle or greater life cycle. It offers full permission to be released from the expectations of consistency, predictability and infinite resource. Each practice ends with the deeply restorative and restful practice of Yoga Nidra.
The practice is both informative and experiential and includes information about how our yoga practice can best support our bodies during the difference phases and life stages.
Expect:
- Meditation
- Gentle fluid asana (Well Woman Yoga inspired)
- Yoga asana for different phases of the menstrual cycle, stages of life (pregnancy, menopause etc.) and conditions depending on the needs of the group
- Restorative postures
- Yoga Nidra (Deep Relaxation practice)

MY TEACHING STYLE
I love...
When it comes to yoga I love to work hard, play hard and rest incredibly hard! I like to sweat, dance, roll around, laugh, cry, try things I don't think I can do, explore things I love and liberate myself from the confines of structure and form to invoke feelings of freedom and wildness.
I love to explore challenge as I feel yoga can reveal to us that we are capable of so much more than we think we are and helps to challenge self-limiting beliefs.
Working Towards Being Completely Permissive & Inclusive
I seek to offer an inclusive, supportive, autonomous and nurturing environment which offers the space and freedom to explore the practice in a way that suits and serves your ever shifting mental, physical and emotional needs. I am defiant and rebellious and don't enjoy being told what to do so I try not to tell you what to do either and instead use permissive invitational language whilst still providing enough containment to hold the practice space safely.
My intention: Freedom
My intention as a teacher is to invite the exploration of freedom and unearth the many individual pathways to liberation through movement, self enquiry, meditation, breath, community and rest. Exploring resistance, defences and habitual patterns through the lens of movement, meditation and relaxation to discover the freedom to breathe well, move well and live well.
I offer: Wildness
I offer movement inspired by our wild nature; playful, spontaneous, fluid, cyclical, rhythmic and self-guided and regularly weave stories, themes and ideas from daily life and nature into the practices. My teachings are very much rooted in the modern day whilst also drawing inspiration from the traditions of the practice and the old ways.
I choose: Honesty
I choose to bring the truth of how I feel to each and every class because I truly believe the more human we can be with each other, the easier it becomes for us to be human.

- Come prepared to get wet - if it's raining you can store anything other than yourself and your mat in the pavilion and if you're happy to we'll soak up the elements and dance/yoga in the rain - maybe bring a towel, a change of clothes and a hot drink!
- If it's mad hot we'll shift position slightly so there's heat and shade for those who need or want either
So looking forward to seeing you under the moon!
Wild love,
Carly x
