I am excited to be bringing Well Woman Yoga to my yoga home, Whitespace Studios.
Today’s frantic lifestyle often means that we fall into the habit of ‘getting on with it’, never allowing ourselves the time and space to support ourselves as women. This leads to stress and imbalance as we ignore our unique feminine physiology and emotional needs, disrupting our natural cycle at whatever stage of our lives.
This peaceful candlelit evening workshop is the perfect opportunity to click the ‘pause’ button and enjoy some precious me-time, while you experience how a supportive Well Woman approach to yoga can promote optimal women’s health. Learning to understand and respect the cycle of women’s lives with self-respect and spiritual empowerment, truly nurtures female vitality and awareness of our wellbeing.
Who’s it for?
This workshop is for all women who sense that yoga could be of more practical use to them in managing health, vital energy and well-being.
Designed for women of all ages and levels of yoga experience, including beginners, Well Woman yoga will be especially helpful for those experiencing:
-PMS, irregular menstrual cycle, PCOS or heavy bleeding
-Fertility and conception difficulties
-Post-natal emotional and physiological changes
-Post-Menopausal lifestyle changes
What to expect
Designed specifically for women this is a combination of therapeutic and enlivening practices, including yoga nidra (yoga sleep), meditation, Shakti (feminine energy) inspired flows and asanas, mudra (containing energy) and mantra (using our voice).
